In June of 2008, I graduated from UC Santa Cruz with a B.A. in Film & Digital Media – Production with honors from the school and honors in the major, a year early, and with an A-minus average.  What does one do with that education?  They move to Hollywood and get jobs fetching coffee and doing menial post-production tasks.

But I wouldn’t have it any other way.  For now.  I have plenty of time to write the next Juno and win my Screenwriting Oscar.

I have a website, What Ben Watches, that I’m relatively proud of and try to stay current with.  I review movies there.  You can visit and read more about it there if you so desire.  If you like my ramblings here, you’ll love my more formal tone, as well! Other than that, I’m just another guy with a blog.  ::shrugs::  I hope you enjoy, and if you don’t, I hope you find somewhere else online that you do enjoy.  It was a pleasure doing business with you.

About the title: Björk said in an interview once that, “sometimes just a good talk or pancakes can sort you out.”  She’s so right.  And I was getting sick of calling everything “What Ben Watches” or “whatbenwatches” or “what.ben.watches” or some variant thereof.
